Code of Conduct

Here at Scoreline Sports we encourage spirited competition, but we want all players and officials to be treated respectfully, with enjoyment being the main priority regardless of the result.    

Sanctions may apply for breaching the code of conduct.    These sanctions would vary depending on the situation, but may include suspension or banning.

The Code of Conduct is as follows:

(1) Play by and adhere to the rules.

(2) Value safety, fair play & welfare of all participants above competitive advantage.

The wellbeing of all participants must be prioritzed over  the outcome of the game.

(3) Respect match officials.

Match officials’ decisions are final, and not to be disputed during the game.     Abuse or repeated arguing with officials is not acceptable.

(4) Respect other players

Treat all players with respect,  including teammates and opponents.    The following are unacceptable:

  • Vilification, abuse or harrassment of any kind
  • “Sledging” or denigrating opponents.
  • Discriminatory language


(5) Control your temper.

Any violent or intimidatory conduct is unacceptable.

(6) Play Sober.

Persons must be free of drugs or alcohol to enter the playing area.

(7) Play for enjoyment.

You are playing for enjoyment, as are others – your actions should not interfere with the enjoyment of others.
