With any matters not covered here, we apply the same laws as FIFA Futsal.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-dd065f9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"dd065f9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li><strong>TEAMS<\/strong>.\n<ul>\n<li>Team: 5 players on court per team (including 1 goalkeeper). Additional subs (maximum 7) are allowed<\/li>\n<li>Minimum team: A team must have at least 3 players to start a game.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>SUBSTITUTES<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Unlimited \u2018flying\u2019 substitutes<\/li>\n<li>Players can re-enter the game without notifying the referee.<\/li>\n<li>Substitutions must take place from the side of the pitch adjacent to the team\u2019s bench area.<\/li>\n<li>The exiting player must be completely off the court before the sub enter the court.<\/li>\n<li>The two players must cross the sideline within 2 metres of each other.<\/li>\n<li>Goalkeeper replacements (by a sub or by another player) can only take place when the ball is out of play and the referee has been informed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>KICK-IN<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>For sideline re-starts, we use kick-ins instead of throw-ins<\/li>\n<li>The kicker must place the ball by hand stationary on the line<\/li>\n<li>A goal CANNOT be scored directly from a kick in unless it touches a player before crossing the goal line.<\/li>\n<li>Defending players must be no less than 3 metres away from the player taking the kick-in.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>OTHER IMPORTANT RULES<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The ball may go in any direction from the kick-off<\/span><\/li>\n<li>For a ball to be OUT or a goal scored, ALL of the ball must be over the line.<\/li>\n<li>There is a <strong>4 second time limit<\/strong> at all restarts of play (kick-ins, corners, goalkeeper restarts)<\/li>\n<li>There is NO offside.<\/li>\n<li>Slide tackles are NOT permitted.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Kick-off:&nbsp; &nbsp;May be taken in any direction.&nbsp; &nbsp;Player taking the kick-off may score directly.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Players are NOT allowed to play the ball whilst on the ground, except for the Goalkeeper who can only do so within their goal area.<\/li>\n<li>If scores are tied at the end of a final or elimination game, a penalty shootout will be played (best of 5 &#8211; only the players on court at the end of normal time can take part in the shootout)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>GOALKEEPERS<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>If the ball has gone over the goal line off the attacking team, the goalkeeper must clear&nbsp; the ball by hand from the marked goal area (D) to restart.&nbsp; &nbsp;The ball must be cleared from the area within 4 seconds.<\/li>\n<li>If the goalkeeper has taken possession of the ball in their area in general play, they may clear it by hand, or by dropping it to the floor and kicking it.&nbsp; &nbsp; <span style=\"color: #000000;\">The goalkeeper has 4 seconds to either (a) release the ball to another player OR (b) take the ball over the halfway line.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>All goalkeeper throws must bounce (or be touched) before halfway. There is no restriction on the length of goalkeeper drop-kicks.<\/li>\n<li>The goalkeeper has a 4 second time limit to clear the ball from the goal area<\/li>\n<li>If the goalkeeper takes possession of the ball in general play, they have&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Goalkeepers are NOT allowed to pick up a deliberate pass from any of their team mates (Back pass).<\/li>\n<li>There is NO \u201ctwo touch\u201d rule in this league.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>DISCIPLINARY ACTION<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>The referee has the option of using 2 disciplinary cards \u2013 blue and red.<\/li>\n<li>BLUE CARD: player must leave the court for a period specified by the referee (this may be anything from 2 minutes to the whole game). The player may be replaced immediately. The matter does not go on the player\u2019s record.<\/li>\n<li>RED CARD: player is immediately expelled from the game and cannot return. The player may be replaced after 2 minutes, or when their team concedes a goal, whichever is earlier.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;A player receiving a red card must serve an <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>automatic minimum one match<\/em><\/span><\/strong><em><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">&nbsp;suspension<\/span><\/strong>;<\/em> any&nbsp; additional penalty will be notified by Scoreline Sports management.<\/li>\n<li>Referees may warn, ask to leave or eject from the stadium any person who is bringing the competition into disrepute or displaying antisocial behaviour. (Spectators included)<\/li>\n<li>All players are bound by the <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/scorelinesports.com.au\/general-info\/code-of-conduct\/\">Scoreline Sports Code of Conduct.<\/a> Referees may take action during the game for breaches of the code. Management may issue further sanctions for reported breaches of the code (even if no action was taken at the time).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>MIXED RULES<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Maximum 3 males on the court at all times.<\/li>\n<li>The first 2 goals scored by women for each team will count as 2 each.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Males can only shoot for goal from inside the large semi circle (basketball 3 point line). The exception to this is if the opposing goalkeeper is outside the same semi circle, at which time anyone can shoot from anywhere on the pitch.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>There are no restrictions on the number of goals that can be scored by males or females.<\/li>\n<li>If a male player takes a corner or side kick-in, a goal can only be scored if it is touched by another player on the same team.<\/li>\n<li>There is no official limit on kicking height; however a free kick may be given against a male player who kicks the ball excessively hard at or near head height, especially if a female player is in the vicinity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>TIMING<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Matches will commence on time unless there was a delay during earlier matches.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>At the commencement of the game time, if one team does not have enough players to start, 1 goal will be awarded to the opposition.<\/li>\n<li>A second goal will be awarded after 3 minutes, and a third goal after 6 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>After 9 minutes the game will be declared a forfeit.<\/li>\n<li>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><strong>FORFEITS<\/strong><br><ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-alpha;\">\n<li>Teams who cannot field sufficient players will forfeit the match<\/li>\n<li>A forfeit will count as a 7-0 loss<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Futsal Rules (Tournaments) This is a basic summary of Futsal rules, including rules that are specific to our tournaments.
