As at January 2022, our Covid-19 policies are as follows:

  • Compliance with regulations:   We will comply with government regulations, and with directives from management of the various venues.
  • Check in:   All players  must check in using the QR code on arrival at the venue.
  • Masks:    All players  must wear a mask in indoor venues, except when they are participating.
  • Vaccination: 
    • All players and officials using the Somerville House venues (indoor and outdoor) must be double vaccinated, and be ready to produce their certification on entry or on request.  
    • There are no current vaccination requirements for players at South Bank TAFE.

  • Exposure: If you have symptoms, or if you are a contact of someone who has tested positive, you must stay home and not attend games.   
  • Missed games: Our aim is to be flexible to enable players and teams to take all necessary precautions and still enjoy the Futsal season.
    • If a whole team has to miss a game due to Covid testing or isolation, we will endeavour to re-schedule rather than forfeit the game.
    • Teams may bring in replacement players if necessary, but those replacement players must also be compliant with government and venue regulations.
    • We will build flexibility into finals rules so that if a team has made the finals but lost some players due to covid issues, they will be able to participate with new player
